Self-preservation is about hearing and honoring the needs of your spirit by listening to your physical body. This comes when you can identify your physical, emotional, and mental limits. First step is getting honest about what you are “tolerating” in your life and asking if it’s worth the internal strife. Then the real growth happens when we know how to take conscious actions that reinforce our REAL SELF. It’s these actions that we will dig into in our classes.
THE PHYSICAL PRACTICE:
By using the therapy balls we will wake up “blind spots”- these are places in our soft tissue that are numb, weak, and underused. These places often hold emotional backlog or suffer from harmful repetitive motions in our daily lives. Ball rolling before practicing improves muscle performance and range of motion!
Once we are able to feel and propriocept these areas, we will move into a Forrest Yoga 60 minute class which highlights the same areas we worked out with the Yoga Tune Up balls.
THE INNER WORK:
This is big time about setting clear and firm boundaries. You will explore: Giving Yourself Permission, Energy Leaks and Vampires, Put You First: No means No, Guilt free living, Accountability, Trusting Yourself
