These dark winter months offer us the opportunity to slow down, nest and look within. However, it can often leave us feeling stuck and compressed. Spending more time on our yoga mats is a great way to break free from the winter blues. This class will do just that! Our ribcage supports our organs and the chest muscles are the guardians of our heart. These precious parts deserve time and attention!This special FY class will focus on:
- side body opening to free the lungs, which supports a deep expansive breath
- core strength to help us sit up taller and beat that “heavy hearted” feeling
- chest opening to free up shoulder and neck tension
- Therapeutic back traction (anti-slump) moves
